Over the last few years we’ve become very proficient with building sites with ExpressionEngine, so I’m glad we can now be considered “pros” by the EE community. For those not in the know, EE is a rich content management system. We run this site on it, and have been slowly figuring out how to use it as an application development platform. Our bug tracker, time tracker, estimation tools are all currently running on EE, they work great, and have been much more flexible & quicker to develop than a standard web app. It’s a great platform. PeaceLoveAndMomminess.com. is a nice little magazine site for moms & ladies with mom-type interests, featuring some excellent copy from a talented copywriter (Debbie), a great collaboration from a number of designers, and of course our fabulous production. PLM was built using our favorite CMS system and features an integrated shopping cart, and a cool little “flair” button system. Now that it’s all put together Debbie really enjoys it, enjoys using the admin system. I’m really happy that we could offer her so much of what she wanted without having to sacrifice based on limitations of the system. Check it out!
